Jim Taylor (Australia)

Dear David,
as I said in my feedback form, I was going to email you with some additional information on our recently completed trip to Siem Reap with your company.
1. We were extremely happy with our tour and it was exceptional value for money. The people we met were very friendly and we would have no hesitation recommending your company to our friends who may want to visit Siem Reap. In fact, I have already recommended about 5 couples to use your company via Trip Advisor, so thank you for a great trip.
2. We visited the Museum in Siem Reap on our last day with Bun (our guide) on his day off and we all felt that this should have been something to do right at the start of the trip on the first day instead of the Tonle Sap cruise as it certainly would have set the scene for what we would then see for real as we visited all the temples over the following days. The museum was excellent. This is something for you to consider for future tours.
3. We all felt that the lake cruise at that time of the year (dry season) really is too difficult as the channel was narrow and difficult to navigate. We suggest that the cruise be restricted to the wet season when the volume of water is much higher. Having said that, once we got onto the lake it was interesting to see how the floating villages operate. Maybe consider driving the vehicle down the side of the channel and embarking the boat closer to the lake during the dry season.
4. The sunrise at Angkor Wat was okay but the breakfast that the hotel packed was not great, so maybe something needs to done about that. The box included 2 slices of old bread, one croissant, one small dob of butter, 2 bags of jam and a bag of chopped fruit. Most of it was inedible. We looked on with envy, at the local breakfast that Bun and our driver were enjoying! Two of our party enjoyed a local noodle meal instead of the packed breakfast.
5. The hotel was good and the pool area was a great place to relax in the early to mid afternoons. The breakfasts at the hotel were good and the staff very friendly.
6. The lunch and evening meals that you had organised were good with the exception of the last evening meal on the Wednesday evening that we had at the place next door to the hotel. We all felt that this was not up to the standard of all the other places that we had meals at and it could have been more Cambodian in its menu. On the free day on Thursday we ate at the Amok Restaurant in the town centre and thought that it would have been an excellent addition to the tour meal itinerary, as was the Khmer Kitchen Restaurant that we had our evening meal at on the same day.
7. The massage was very good and enjoyed by all.
8. We felt that you should schedule a visit to a school as part of the tour. We got Bun to take us to a school way out in the countryside after visiting one of the temples and palm sugar places and it was a real eye-opener for us to see how the schools work with such limited facilities. Five of the six of us in the tour were teachers and had we known a little more about the schools before leaving Australia we could have brought materials with us to help in the day to day operation of the school.
9. Bun's knowledge of Cambodian history and its place in the world was just astonishing. He was able to explain all of our questions and we impressed with the thoroughness of his answers. Well done!
10. One of our party was slightly alarmed at the fact that the van we had was a right hand drive vehicle in a left hand drive country.
11. Could you possibly find out an address for the Knar Primary School that we visited which was out near the Palm Sugar places that we stopped at? We would like to try and do something from here to help with the success of the school.

So, can I thank you for a wonderful trip that you had organised for us. Bun, our guide, is a credit to your company as is Narong Ou, our driver. We have such wonderful memories of our time in Cambodia and wish you and your country every success for the future.
Thank you

Panha, or rather "GM", the nickname that we coined for him,was extremely helpful and prompt in addressing all our queries pertaining to his packages. Not only was he very patient with our tons of questions, every step of our itienary went well.

Our assigned guides, Mr Chaoran from Phnom Penh and Mr Boram from Siem Reap were both very knowledgeable with the histories of Cambodia as well as attentive and accomodating to our needs and requests too.

I enjoyed my 6D5N Phnom Penh-Siem Reap holiday with Amazing tours, GM and gang and will definately look forward to travelling with them in future.. 5*****.. Keep it up!

btw, Angkor Home was really lovely.. =)

Hi David,
Hope you are well...

My trip to Siem Reap was really amazing and really enjoyed myself. Tour guide Senchey was great, patience and helpful. He helped to push my boy in his pram and carry my boy when he's tired. Luckily he's understanding because my boy is still small and get irritated easily. I'm very happy with the service. Everything was good and well went except the visit to Maharajah Restaurant. The food was so-so. It was a disappointment because I visited the website before and it was impressive and said that it was the best Halal Indian food in Siem Reap. I met a Malaysian couple at the Malaysian restaurant the next day and they also told me the same thing about Maharajah. But it's okay, just to let you know. Sometimes you cannot believe whatever it's on the internet! Same goes when doing online shopping, buying a bag or shoes! The Malaysian food was really good. Also the restaurant at the hotel on the 1st day.

I hope I will visit Angkor Wat again. It was magnificent and sometimes I'm daydreaming I'm at the temple! Hope to use your service again....

Thank you.

Warmest Regards,
